These can either be a bolt-on or a weld-on design. That's completely up to you if you would like to have it welded on. Part number is MT70149. Now, the Maxxtow swing away jack is a very nice addition, especially on marine trailers, recreational trailers. Completely zinc coated here, so you're going to have great corrosion resistance, especially on those marine applications with the fresh and salt water that we experience quite a bit. See we've got our outer tube here, inner tube here, the base, everything's going to be coated for you. We got a large handle and it's got a long arm on it so that it gives you good leverage, especially with these heavier duty jacks, that can take some effort sometimes, so that longer handle really comes in handy to help you get it moving up and down. Today we're going to be taking a look at a square direct weld jack with the included foot plate and this one also includes a drop leg. This utility jack is going to let you raise and lower your trailer. The square jack provides more side load capacity when compared to round tube jacks. This jack is going to feature a lift capacity of 3000 pounds and a support capacity of 5000 pounds. You can see here on top that it has a top wand handle and it has a claw grip that is going to allow for nice, comfortable easy cranking, and another neat feature about the handle is when it's not being used it conveniently folds over into a stowed position. So it's a really nice design of this particular handle mechanism. Now, the handle radius, if we take a measurement from the center of where it mounts to the outer edge of the handle, that's going to give us a measurement of 9 and 5/8 of an inch, that's our handle radius. Again this jack is a direct weld-on installation, meaning it's going to weld directly onto the frame of the trailer. Now I also want to mention that this jack features a drop leg. more
